For over 30 years, I’ve been a breeder of Gouldian finches. over the years I faced the challenges many breeders know too well: parents failing to rear their chicks. When hand-rearing became a necessity, I learnt how to do it and successfully hand-reared around 30 Gouldian chicks from hatching through to fully grown, healthy adults. I realised that many others could benefit from the tools and knowledge needed to save abandoned or vulnerable baby birds and animals. From that came my idea for supplying baby bird hand-feeding kits, as well as syringes and teats suitable for a range of animals, including hedgehogs, kittens, puppies, and more.. Alongside this, I’m an avid crafter with a love of making things.
